Nothing like a good ol’ paid iOS app going free over the weekend to keep you glued to your iPhone or iPad. Today’s Free App of the Week promo from Apple brings us a title which usually retails for $2 on the App Store, but till Thursday, can be grabbed absolutely free of cost.
Zip-Zap is a unique game to be made available on Apple’s mobile platform, and as such is one that will keep you coming back to it over and over again for its replay value.
This is the first time the title has completely dropped its price tag, and considering the wonderful experience it offers, this should be enough of a a temptation to at least try it out once. Zip-Zap is the perfect game to be had when commuting on a train or bus ride, or for those lazy Saturday evenings. What’s the fuss you ask? Well, the idea behind Zip-Zap is pretty simple, and so is the gameplay and controls. As the developer tells us:
Touch to contract.
Release to let go.
Bring the clumsy mechanical beings home.
Zip-Zap offers over 100 levels to keep you tasked with, so you’ll not run of challenges anytime soon. Even better the app – unlike most out there – does not put you through the loops of having to make in-app purchases, giving you unrestricted access to all settings and levels.
There’s really nothing more to drive home about for Zip-Zap, but if you’re one for minimalistic graphics, this is exactly what you’ll get.
You can download Zip-Zap for free for a limited time till Thursday, so what are you waiting for? It is free after all.
