YouTube’s ‘Playable’ Games Are Now Available On The iPhone

YouTube’s expansion into the world of mobile gaming continued with the company launching its “Playables” games via the YouTube app on the iPhone.

The games being built into the YouTube app means that they don’t have to go through the usual App Store review process and are all available in one place.

The games that are offered on YouTube via the Playables collection right now are all free and can be played on the iPhone and iPad. There are already more than 75 games available with more surely to be on the way.

The games available right now are not no-name titles that you’re unlikely to want to play and include big names like Angry Birds and Cut the Rope, among others.

Playables are a fun, interactive way to experience YouTube — with lightweight, entertaining games like Angry Birds Showdown, Words of Wonders, Cut the Rope, Tomb of the Mask, and Trivia Crack and so many more that you can play right now.

Those who want to take the new games for a spin can open the YouTube app and find the Playables section in the Explore menu. Google says that gamers can also share games with friends via the three-dot menu. Players will also be able to save their game progress and track all-time best scores, too.
