It’s been a big day for Apple today. We’ve finally seen the release of the iPhone SE after months of rumors, so that’s pretty big. But we can all probably agree that the really big news is that you can now buy two new accessories for the Mac Pro; And one of them costs just $300.
All joking aside, these two accessories are obviously obscenely priced.
But if you need them, you need them, right? We’re talking about Mac Pro feet and Mac Pro wheels.
Starting with the wheels, Apple will now sell you a set of four wheels as a kit for $699. That’s a lot of money for four wheels, especially when you remember that they don’t even lock when you want to make sure your Mac Pro doesn’t go sliding around.
They do look gorgeous, though. And Apple says you’ll get a 1/4-inch to 4mm hex bit in the box. You will need some other tools, though.
If you already have wheels and want feet, we have good news! Just $299 is needed to get four of those things. A bargain, we’re sure you will agree.
Both the wheels and feet can be ordered from Apple’s online store now. We don’t know whether they’ll also be offered in Apple Stores once they re-open, though. We can’t imagine there will be much demand for either kit.
