Windows Vista Service Pack 2 is another milestone to improve the reliability, compatibility, stability and performance of Windows Vista. SP2 contains all the previously released updates as well as support for new types of hardware and several emerging standards.
The key feature of Windows Vista SP2 are:
- Windows Vista SP2 includes ability to record data to Blu-Ray Disc media.
- Windows Search 4.0 for faster and more relevant search experience.
- Includes Windows Vista Feature Pack for Wireless which adds:
- Bluetooth 2.1 which supports the most recent specification for Bluetooth Technology.
- Windows Connect Now (WCN) to simplify Wi-Fi Configuration
- Windows Vista SP2 enables the exFAT file system to support UTC timestamps, which allows correct file synchronization across time zones.
