Windows Ultimate Extras has altogether been a real sorry story from Microsoft. Many of us Windows Vista Ultimate users feel like having been ripped off our 
money for Ultimate Extras which promised a lot but delivered very little.
Before shifting full time to Windows Vista in late 2006, I used to have Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005 and I really liked its extra features like Windows Dancer and the party mode which wasn’t there in other versions of XP(Home & Professional). I was thinking if Microsoft can perhaps improve these little Plus! applications from Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005, repackage and bundle them again as an Ultimate Extras for Windows Vista Ultimate users.
Microsoft’s performance has been dismal as far Ultimate Extras are concerned and the last Ultimate Extras was "Windows DreamScene Content Pack #3" which was released back in May 2008. Microsoft really need to get their act together on Ultimate Extras thing to win back hearts of loyal Windows users like me who have been really disappointed with the current state of Ultimate Extras. I hope something like Windows Dancer or Microsoft Research project Group Shot makes its way as an exclusive for Vista Ultimate users sooner than later.
