Apple’s new iPad Pro isn’t yet in the hands of those who have pre-ordered but one lucky person has been able to get their hands on the new white Magic Keyboard already. And they shared the unboxing experience on YouTube, too.
The video, posted over the weekend, gives us our first look at the keyboard that is now coming in white for the first time. This being the white version of a keyboard that is already available, there aren’t all that many surprises to be had here.
The keyboard looks and functions the same as the existing black one, except it comes in a matte white color instead. And while this is the second generation version of the popular keyboard, it’s thought that nothing has changes apart from the 12.9-inch version now accommodating the slightly thicker iPad Pro.
One thing this keyboard does is give us a look at what could be a future MacBook Air. Rumors of a new, colorful MacBook Air with a white keyboard have been circulating for a week or so and this is the closest example of that yet.
Apple’s new iPad Pro is still available for pre-order but delivery estimates continue to stretch into the future. If you don’t already have one on order it’s a safe bet your new Magic Keyboard will arrive long before your tablet.
