Apple has just made available for download the watchOS 6 GM for all Apple Watch users registered on the Apple Developer Program portal.
Apple is bringing out a brand new Apple Watch in due course with Apple Watch Series 5 announced yesterday complete with its always-on Retina display, but watchOS 6 is an all-inclusive experience for all Apple Watch models except Series 0.
The GM of watchOS 6 brings to an end a year or development for a platform which offers new Watch faces, an enhanced Siri experience, a brand new dedicated App Store, an insight into Activity trends, female cycle tracking, and even new Health features dedicated to hearing. A great experience. A great update for a great product.
watchOS 6 GM for all compatible Apple Watch models, can be downloaded from the Watch companion app on a connected iPhone or from developer.apple.com with a registered developer account.
It’s important to note that while Apple will release final version of watchOS 6 on September 19, it will initially be available only for Series 3, Series 4 and Series 5 models with Series 1 and Series 2 models getting it sometime later in the year.
