Now that Apple has announced the official release date for the Vision Pro as being February 2, it’s only a matter of time before people will be able to buy it and then take it for a spin.
But before any of that can happen Apple is keen to make sure that everyone is aware the Vision Pro is coming while whipping up excitement. As part of that, it’s shared a new video that highlights its arrival.
The ad itself, dubbed Get Ready, doesn’t show the headset for very long but it does instead go through a number of TV shows and movies in which characters put some sort of headset or mask on, mimicking what people will do when the Vision Pro arrives next month.
Throughout the video, we see some scenes from multiple different popular shows and movies including Star Wars, Star Trek, Back to the Future, Snoopy, and more.
Apple’s ad ends with the Get Ready tagline, but no other details are given. People can of course head to Apple’s website to see more details about what the headset will be capable of when it goes on sale — as well as that $3,499 asking price that could well give some potential buyers pause.
Apple will allow preorders for the headset from January 19 with orders available both online and in local Apple Stores where employees will be able to help buyers configure their headset for the first time.
