While playing around with the Pre-Beta Windows 7 build, I came around another little gimmick in 7 which makes your windows stretch across the screen vertically. Move your mouse over the top corner of the title bar of a non-maximized window where it should become a resize arrow, and then double click it. Your window would automatically expand vertically to snap to the top and bottom edges of the screen. Pretty neat feature to maximize real state of any window you’re working on, particularly instant messengers in which you have to come across vertical scrolling lists. Double clicking the window again in that manner would bring it back to the size it was before it was stretched.
