Apple has a lot going on right now with the company expected to announce new iPad Pro and iPad Air tablets on May 7.
The company is also expected to unveil iOS 18 and some new AI features at the WWDC event on June 10. Now, a new report suggests that the two things might collide.
According to a Washington Post article, Apple CEO Tim Cook will take the opportunity presented by the May 7 event to tease new AI features, although it isn’t yet clear how far he will go or what those features actually will be.
Apple Chief Executive Tim Cook is expected to hint at new artificial intelligence features next week and unveil them at the company’s World Wide Developers Conference in June.
If everything goes the way we expect, the OLED iPad Pro will be announced during the event next week, and it’s thought that the new display could be joined by the first M4 chips. If so, the iPad Pro will have the most powerful chip of all, at least until Apple starts refreshing its Mac lineups.
Beyond the iPad Pro, a new 11-inch iPad Air is expected to be joined by the first 12,9-inch iPad Air, too. Rumors suggest that both tablets will use Apple’s M2 chips, while new Apple Pencil and APple Magic Keyboard accessories have also been tipped for the big event.
