Amazon is selling the Twelve South PowerPic picture frame and wireless phone charger for just $49.99. Normally, this would sell for around $90, making this almost a 50% saving.
If you’re tired of your boring old wireless chargers, this is going to be right up your alley.
You might remember the Twelve South PowerPic from when it burst onto the scene a while ago. It’s been popular ever since, but if there is one knock you could level at it, it’s the price. At $90 it’s a little much, but by dropping the price to just $49.99 the whole proposition is a better one.
That proposition includes a gorgeous photo frame that can house any image that’s 5×7. That’s most photos printed by those automated machines you find in pharmacies and whatnot, so you probably already have a ton of them. Once you slap your photo in you can put the frame somewhere nice. But there’s more to it than that.
Beneath your photo is a Qi wireless charger that’s rated at up to 10W. When you place a phone on your photo you’ll see it starts charging, which makes this the best looking wireless charger we’ve ever sen. And if you’re feeling particularly creative, you can even use the same image as your phone’s wallpaper, too.
We love this thing and at this price there’s little reason not to take it for a try. Before that price goes back up!
