tvOS 18, watchOS 11 RC Download Released

You can now download tvOS 18 RC and watchOS 11 RC. Here are the details on this development.

Alongside new software updates for the iPhone and iPad, Apple is also set to launch new software for the Apple TV and Apple Watch.

Both will be released very shortly and today we saw the launch of the first Release Candidate versions of the tvOS 18 and watchOS 11 betas.

Apple’s new Apple TV and Apple Watch updates bring new features and fixes and they’ll be available to everyone for free soon enough. But right now it’s all about beta software as Apple works to get the new updates ready for a public release.

watchOS 11

The Apple Watch is one of Apple’s key platforms and this watchOS 11 update brings with it changes including the ability to pause activity rings for the first time. That’s a feature that has long been requested, and it’s finally going to be part of the watchOS 11 update. Other changes include a new Vitals app, improvements to Cycle Tracking, and more.

tvOS 18

The Apple TV, like the rest of the Apple hardware lineup, receives new software updates every year. This year’s tvOS 18 update doesn’t bring with it any huge new features but it’s an important update and one well worth installing on your Apple TV. It includes a new feature that shows information about the content being watched, like Prime Video’s X-Ray, among other things.
