Apple’s Today at Apple events have been hugely popular and have pulled people into Apple Stores in their drives. But with retail stores now closed Apple has launched a new Today at Apple (at Home) program.
Apple Stores around the globe are now closed as we try to deal with the coronavirus pandemic. That means that Today at Apple sessions aren’t possible, leading Apple to move things to the home. A new website has been set up to back the sessions, too.
Those sessions come in the form of short videos that lead people into creative projects similar to those that previously took place in stores.
Current sessions include drawing portraits on iPads and taking iPhone photos.
It’s likely that Apple will continue to build this new program out over time, especially if the worldwide social distancing practice continues. At the time of writing, only Apple Stores in Greater China are open, although they too were closed during the height of China’s outbreak.
If you’re looking for ways to stay busy and entertained in the coming days and weeks you could definitely do worse than take these sessions for a spin over at apple.com/today/feature/today-at-home.
If they’re anywhere near as popular as those that take place in Apple Stores they’re sure to be pretty great.
