If you’re someone who enjoys playing racing simulation games and you want to have the very best wheel you can get, there’s a new entry to the market for you to consider, but it isn’t cheap.
In fact, the official Mercedes F1 sim wheel costs a whopping $2,500 which is perhaps considerably more than the computers that the majority of gamers are likely to use it with.
But as The Drive reports, it’s fair to say that you’re going to get plenty for your money starting with an entirely carbon fiber construction. That means it weighs just 2.7 pounds despite its large 4.3-inch display that runs an interface that will be similar to that of the real wheel found in F1 cars.
There are plenty of buttons and knobs to be played with as well, and there are two sets of stickers included so buyers can set things up to look like the wheels of either Lewis Hamilton or George Russell.
As impressive as all of that sounds, there is no denying the fact that this is an expensive piece of kit to add to any setup, albeit one that not everyone is going to even consider let alone actually buying. But if you have a spare $2,500 burning a hole in your pocket and like to place F1 racing simulation games, this is definitely the racing wheel to consider.
