There have been rumors of Apple working on some kind of foldable iPhone for years and it’s fairly obvious to all that a foldable device is at least being prototyped somewhere inside Apple Park.
Whether we see a foldable iPhone this year, next year, or whenever, we can only hope that it looks something like this new concept.
Shared to YouTube by ConceptsiPhone, the concept shows a 6.3-inch iPhone that opens up and turns into an 8-inch tablet. That tablet is similar in size to an iPad mini and looks stunning in this concept. Closed, this thing looks very similar to the current iPhone 12 Pro but with a smaller Face ID notch.
Alongside the fact this thing folds, the concept also mentions a Touch ID sensor that covers the entire screen as well as a new 5nm A15 Bionic chip.
The full rundown of features offered by this concept includes:
Features:
- All-Screen Touch ID – Just swipe up or open the iPhone
- New Face ID – Faster and smaller
- The new level camera system with the LiDAR 2 sensor
- The most powerful 5nm mobile chip A15 Bionic
- Two displays and five colors
- Four surround speakers
- The best under-display camera
- 5G
We know that we’d be all over any kind of foldable iPhone like this, but what say you?
