Apple is expected to announce the iOS 17 software update during the WWDC23 event, likely to take place in June.
That’ll be our first look at the software that will power the iPhone 15 series later this year and be installable on existing iPhones in September. Now, a new concept imagines what that software might have to offer.
We haven’t heard any real rumors about the iOS 17 software update or what it might have to offer just yet, but if we get anything like this concept we’re going to be very happy indeed.
The concept. shared by Keven Kall, has a lot to offer and much of it is the kind of thing that we would have put on our wishlist. Those things include Split View, a much-needed multitasking view that would be perfectly suited to the iPhone 15 Plus and iPhone 15 Pro Max this September.
There are other features that we like the look of as well, including a new Pro mode in the Camera app as well as an easy way to install icon packs. The ability to better customize what apps appear in Control Center is the kind of thing that should have happened years ago, too.
All things considered this concept ticks all the right boxes as far as we’re concerned and we’d be happy if even a few of these ideas reach iOS 17. But then we also have to consider that Apple will likely add features that we haven’t even thought about yet, too.
