Apple has released a new Mac ad that shows how secure its computers are when someone steals a MacBook.
The ad follows the existing ‘The Underdogs’ campaign that started back in the days of COVID and follows a group of people setting up their own business using Apple hardware, software, and services.
In this ad they’re about to go to a meeting that could see their startup receive funding, only for the proposal to be stolen along with the Mac that it was on.
The resulting manhunt sees the team use Apple services like Find My to locate the MacBook while the thieves try, and fail, to sell it thanks to the advanced security that it has.
The Underdogs are back in action. This time they’re on a mission to save a missing Mac. Thankfully they’ve got Apple’s powerful security features on their side. Great news for them. Bad, bad news for the bumbling thieves.
Throughout the video we see multiple Apple devices and services used to try and locate the MacBook and at more than eight minutes long, it’s perhaps the funniest and most entertaining ad we’ve seen in a while. Be sure to check the whole thing out from beginning to end to get the full effect. You can also watch Apple’s other ads on its YouTube channel, too.
