The festive season may be over for most, but in celebration of the new calendar year, there seems to be no-end of promotional offers on apps for mobile users. With Sephora throwing out promo codes for iOS apps like confetti, Android users are certainly not being left out, and Agent – a 5-in-1 smart assistant for those running Google’s mobile operating system – has just gone free. Check the details after the break!
Although the Play Store is crammed with many hundreds of thousands of apps, it’s fair to say that not all of them are great. In fact, despite improvements, it can be a job sourcing those gems amid a swarm of mediocrity, but Agent, a two-month-old app which purports to be a Swiss Army tool set for Droidsters, is certainly one of the better utilities out there.
Agent is supposed to help you better manage your daily life, allowing you to passively save more battery for those times when you’ll need it most, silence your device when you’re in a meeting, and even locate your car when you’ve parked it and subsequently forgotten where.
In addition, Agent can also be set up to send automatic replies when you’re driving so you don’t take your eyes off the road, and there’s even a function that allows you to only receive urgent correspondence when you’re asleep. There’s nothing worse than leaving your phone on loud / vibrate at night for that one urgent call you’ve been waiting for, only to be awoken to the noise of somebody else trying to contact you. With Agent on board, this sequence of events won’t unnecessarily interrupt your beauty sleep any more.
All of these luxuries in one will usually set you back $1.99, which is certainly worthwhile considering what it brings to the table. However, nothing beats a freebie, and for a limited time, you can grab Agent for no cost at all.
The direct link for Agent can be found below, so grab it, install it, and enjoy a much more controlled Android experience. Also be sure to leave your thoughts on it with us.
