Apple is heavily rumored to finally be getting ready to launch its Tile-like trackers, dubbed AirTags, and now we might have had our first look at an accessory the company is making.
We’ve previously heard that there will be some sort of pouch that people can put AirTags into and then connect to keys and bags – and new images appear to show one of those.
There have been patents pointing to this kind of thing previously and leaker Jon Prosser has also alluded to such a product. Now, anonymous Twitter user @choco_bit has shared images of what appears to be the pouch itself, complete with Apple’s branding.
This particular Twitter account might be one that doesn’t have a real name attached to it, but it does nevertheless have history of being accurate with these kinds of leaks. We’re fairly confident in its legitimacy, although the leaker did say we should take it with a “bit of salt.”
We first started hearing about AirTags more than a year ago and it’s now starting to look like they might finally be coming to market. Apple has a special event scheduled for today – could AirTags finally be showing up? Who knows!
Apple’s event is however expected to bring the first Apple silicon Macs, although we don’t know exactly what they will be. Talk of new 13-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pros continues.
