The iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max aren’t here yet, but that isn’t going to stop the rumor mill from moving on to what comes next. That’s the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max, and a new report claims that they’re going to have the biggest displays yet.
That report comes via display analyst Ross Young who claims that the iPhone 16 Pro will have a 6.2x-inch display. The iPhone 16 Pro Max will have a 6.8x-inch display, he says.
The second decimal place is a figure that he says he will confirm in a couple of weeks, but for now we will have to hang fire and work with what we have. But either way, the two numbers are an increase on the previous displays that are used in Apple’s current lineup.
The current iPhone 14 Pro has a 6.1-inch display while the iPhone 14 Pro Max has a 6.7-inch display. Depending on what the second decimal place is, the difference in size could be very small, or fairly big.
Apple isn’t expected to announce the iPhone 16 lineup until September 2024 of course, so we can expect there to be plenty more leaks between now and then. And with the iPhone 15 lineup still not confirmed we don’t yet have all of the answers for those models yet, either.
The iPhone 15 lineup is set to be announced during an event in September assuming previous release schedules are adhered to.
