Tesla has announced a new promotion that will see owners of its cars send in photos of them. The contest will see people win 3,500 Supercharger credits.
NotaTeslaApp reports that the company invited owners to send in their best photos for a chance to win the credits. Those credits can then be redeemed in Tesla’s Loot Bos for Supercharging and other rewards.
“Submit your best Tesla pics for a chance to win 3500 credits (can be redeemed in Loot Box for Supercharging, software upgrades & more),” the tweet reads.
The contest is part of the annual Earth day celebrations which are always held on April 22 to help raise awareness of the planet and its needs. Many companies celebrate the event, with Apple even going so far as to change the color of the Apple logo at its retail outlets to a rather lovely green.
The report notes that Tesla has probably done as much as anyone considering its push EV credentials.
Tesla’s mission has always been closely aligned with the values of Earth Day. The company’s primary goal is accelerating the world’s transition to sustainable energy. Tesla has played a significant role in saving the planet by popularizing electric vehicles, which produce zero tailpipe emissions and significantly reduce the carbon footprint of transportation.
Entering the contest is of course going to be easy for most Tesla owners. All of them are sure to have a phone full of photos of their EV.
