After holding its launch event last month Tesla has now started to sell its Foundation Series Cyber Trick with a price of $120,000 for those who will be picking one up in the United States.
That Cybertruck delivery event last week saw Tesla say that it had 10 trucks to deliver to customers with some wondering how long it would be before there were more ready to sell.
Now, it seems that Tesla has started to reach out to Cybertruck reservation holders to give them the chance to change those reservations into orders with the Foundation Series an option for those who device to place an order.
“As an early reservation holder, you are invited to order your Foundation Series Cybertruck which is fully optioned and includes limited-edition laser-etched badging, premium accessories, charging equipment with Powershare home backup hardware, all-terrain tires, Full Self-Driving capability and more”
It’s expected that the Foundation Series will be a tri-motor version of the truck with additional features bolted on at a discounted price.
Deliveries have reportedly already started in California and Texas, with more states set to come online in 2024 although it isn’t yet clear how far through the year that will happen or which states Tesla expects to open orders in.
The Cybertruck was first announced in 2019 and has since gone through various delays before finally starting to ship over the last week or so.
