The Tesla Cybertruck is now finally on sale after what feels like forever, but while the shape might have grown on some over the last few years the metallic finish is a very polarizing one.
Now, Tesla has started to offer new wrap colors for those who want to go for something a little different.
The new options are all available from the Tesla Shop with prices starting at $6,000 for the Satin Stealth Black, Slip Grey, and Satin Ceramic White finishes while Satin Rose Gold and $6,500 cost $6,500.
Tesla says that the wraps all have a number of features and benefits including being thicker than vinyl and offering additional protection.
- SELF-HEALING, URETHANE-BASED FILM
- 2X THICKER THAN VINYL ON AVERAGE
- PROTECTS AGAINST SCRATCHES
- MORE ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY THAN TRADITIONAL VINYL WRAPS
- COVERS ALL EXTERIOR STAINLESS-STEEL SURFACES
It’s unclear whether we should expect more wrap options to arrive, but those who don’t like what they see here can of course choose to go the third-party route and use a local shop instead. However, Tesla is quick to note that the wraps here are only available through its shop which means that any alternatives may not be quite the same quality or finish.
Wraps are a great way to change the color of a vehicle without having to respray it, a costly and time-consuming process that requires stripping the vehicle down to be done correctly.
