We're now firmly into the iPhone 4S's launch day now, and some countries are even already out of it. It's been a day of elation, disappointment and downright anger, depending on which Apple, AT&T or any other store you happened to be (un)fortunate enough to be queuing outside.
Well, you can't knock them for trying. First it was the images, which then evolved to videos and even an audacious "Apple.com" visual of the forthcoming iPhone. The latest effort, which claims to be an unboxing of the eagerly-awaited smartphone, has made a good attempt to seem legit in the form of a professional boxing, as if it were shipped directly from the Cupertino company.
Here is what appears to be a leaked late production unit of a white iPhone 4 which is officially scheduled to launch “later this year”. 9to5Mac site which got the scoop on it believes that this might be one of those units which have been “scrapped by Apple at the last minute after defects in the white color clarity were found”. Unboxing and hands-on video after the break.
Well its here finally! I got my iPhone 4 shipped here the other day and needless to say, the experience so far has been nothing short of spectacular. It’s a factory unlocked version which I got from UK. What this means is that I can use it with any carrier I like, unlike the US version which is tied to AT&T contract.
iPhone 4 was originally scheduled for delivery on 24th June. Then we heard about 23rd June delivery for some of the customers who got the confirmation from AT&T in an email. And now, it looks like FedEx has already delivered some units to lucky lads who have posted first of unboxing pictures for everyone to see. Pictures after the break.
