Users of iPhones in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) can now enable and use FaceTime for the first time after installing iOS 13.6. The update was made available to the public today.

Apple has added support for Arabic language to Siri in iOS 9.2. Apple has been laying the foundations for this level of support for the Arabic language for quite some time. The release of iOS 8 last year brought with it support for Arabic within the Keyboard Dictation and QuickType features. It doesn't seem to be a coincidence that Apple has just opened its first two retail Apple Stores in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, and now is busy implementing Arabic support for Siri in the soon-to-be released iOS 9.2.
Signaling a first for the region, Apple has started selling iTunes gift cards to customers in the United Arab Emirates ahead of the opening of its first retail store.
It looks like Dubai will be getting its first Apple Store on March 16th, according to Stuff Middle East and picked up by 9to5Mac.
