The new and updated Twitter for iOS v3.3 brings a lot of welcoming changes over the previous version. But, what we don’t like about the update is the trending topics bar which is officially known as the Quick Bar. I personally found it annoying as hell and there was no way to get rid of it, until today.
A new update of Twitter for iOS is now live in the App Store. Available for both iPhone and iPad, the new version 3.3 of Twitter app for iOS brings tons of new features, including: improved conversation view for DM, Quick Bar, easier uploading of images and cleaned up design.
Twitter for iPhone has just been updated to bring full support for iOS 4 and iPhone 4. Yes, this new version also supports multitasking (or app switching) which is kind of a new killer feature of the newly released OS. Full official change log is as follows.
Its here! Twitter has launched the official Twitter app for iPhone. For those of you who don't know, the famous iPhone app named “Tweetie” was recently acquired by Twitter and now after a long wait, they have finally released it as “Twitter” for iPhone. The app is labeled as version 3.0 and can be downloaded for free from the iTunes App Store. Tweetie 2 was available for US $2.99 before acquisition.
