Google has once again reduced the price of Nexus 5X, making it a very attractive proposition for those looking to purchase a new SIM-free and unlocked Android Marshmallow-powered handset outright in time for Valentine's Day. Those with an eye for a bargain were able to pick up a discounted Nexus 5X towards the end of last year with a $50 reduction in the original price during the holiday season. This latest marketing tactic by Google, means that the hardware is now an agreeable $80 cheaper than when it first launched.
This time of year is always a fast-paced and extremely exciting period for those with a passion for video gaming. Publishers generally take the month of November as a perfect opportunity to market and release the year's blockbuster titles as part of the roadmap to revenue for the festive period. One such title, which is being released for Microsoft's Xbox One console today, is 'Rise of the Tomb Raider', the latest entry in the Lara Croft franchise. To celebrate that release, and to show how much they value their mobile consumer base, Square Enix is offering a limited time reduction on the cost of the 'Lara Croft GO' mobile puzzle game.
Google's Play Store has just reached an incredible 25 billion downloads, and in order to share the celebratory mood with its hundreds of millions of users, Google has teamed up with some of the biggest app houses to offer a selection of titles for just a quarter.
