The developers behind the popular media playback app Plex have confirmed that the app is coming to the new Apple TV 4. The hugely capable media playback app could be one of the biggest hits of the new device's App Store.
The famed Plex media player / center has finally been showcased for the Xbox One, and is immediately free to download for those with Plex Pass memberships. A further release for the Xbox 360 is also on the horizon, although won't be rolled out until later this year.
If you're the kind of person who likes to stream media around the home then the chances are you've come across Plex at least, even if you don't currently use it. If you want to stream it to your Windows Phone smartphone, too, then Plex is going to be something you'll want to check out again.
Now owners of the new Kindle Fire Android tablet can get their Plex on, after the popular media app found its way to the device recently.
