Ahh, the PlayStation Phone. One of the few phones to be as longed for as the white iPhone 4. Photos have been leaking of Sony Ericsson's PlayStation branded handset for some time now but now the gents over at Engadget have managed to get their hands on one - and they've not been shy when it comes to sharing all the juicy bits with us!
It appears as if Sony is not going to let the Nintendo 3DS steal the show. Sony is expected to release the PSP2 within Q4 this year, possibly as early as October, and the first announcement is expected to be made January 27th.

A few days ago, a small group of German hackers called fail0verflow found an exploit that could completely open up the PlayStation 3 console. Dubbed as “epic PS3 security bypass”, they found the method to calculate the security keys, which is just a Sony signature that lets the PS3 know whether the application they’re trying to open is legit, or not.
Sony has just announced that they are bringing official PlayStation apps on both iOS and Android platforms. In a new post on the official PlayStation blog, Sony confirmed that the app will be compatible on iPhones and iPod touches running iOS 4.x and above, and Android handsets running version 1.6 or over.

October figures from the NPD group states that the Xbox 360 has been the best selling console in the U.S. for the fifth month straight, with an impressive 325,000 units sold, compared to the PlayStation 3's 250,000 and the Nintendo Wii’s 232,000. Microsoft boasts total sales of 3.5 million units to date having been the only console to sell more units each successive year.
