Modern Warfare 3 - the latest title in Activision’s popular Call of Duty series of first person shooters - went pass the $1 billion sales mark in just 16 days, Redmond Pie has learned.
Sony is clearly going all out with the PlayStation Vita, and with good reason. Ever since the PlayStation Portable, or PSP to its friends, went on sale back in late-2004 in Japan and early-2005 everywhere else, the little PlayStation has had a hard life. Missing the dual thumb-sticks that many argued were a necessity in the post-dual shock world and packing an expensive price point, the PSP struggled for years to make a real impact in a market dominated by machines with Nintendo branding on them.
Being third to market with the PlayStation three behind Microsoft's Xbox 360 and Nintendo's Wii undoubtedly hurt Sony, at least in the early days. With gamers already having stumped up the money for the Xbox 360 in particular, Sony's expensive option struggled to gain traction for quite some time after its release. A hugely staggered worldwide release did not help, either.
Grand Theft Auto V (GTA V) was announced on October 25th about two weeks ago and we got our first look at it on November 2nd just four days ago. While the trailer was very short and it seemed that it did not reveal much about the game, but if you looked closely enough, you would’ve found a lot of references to previous games in the series and you would’ve found out what to expect from the title when it releases next year. Still, even if you didn’t look closely enough, that won’t be an issue since we will analyze the most minute details after the jump.
