Rockstar has been regularly pushing out screenshots depicting the beautiful settings and aesthetics of the upcoming Grand Theft Auto V, but despite initially touting a Spring release bracket, the developer and publisher of the legendary franchise left many bemused by pushing it back until September. In an attempt to re-ignite buzz surrounding the title, Rockstar has come through with yet another batch of screenshots, and believe you me, they're as awe-inspiring a batch as we've seen so far.
Diablo 3 has been a hugely popular PC title. It’s the kind of game consumers tend to use to judge the gaming competence of a new setup due to its reasonably graphics-intensive nature, and with the PC version having been out for quite a while now, the PlayStation 3 version has just been teased. By the looks of things, the interface has been revamped, offering an altogether more inviting user interface and slicker gameplay.
Just a few weeks into the year, Sony has already received quite a lot of press attention, mostly concerning its next-generation console. However, the company is showing some love for its current-generation console with its new bundle: a white PlayStation 3 with a 500GB hard drive, along with a white DualShock 3 controller and a one-year membership for PlayStation Plus, all for just under $300.
Sony's PlayStation 3 had a reasonably good week this Black Friday weekend, with the Japanese company announcing that 525,000 consoles were sold this holiday period across the United States.
During the course of the next few months, its fair to say gaming fans have got it pretty good. Halo 4 has just released, and having sold in record numbers, Call of Duty: Black Ops II is ready to make its annual assault on the sales charts. On top of that, Rockstar Games have gotten GTA fans all hot and bothered about the prospect of Grand Theft Auto V, and after months of teaser screenshots, the developer finally began taking pre-orders last month for the release in early 2013. With gamers now under no illusions about when GTA V will be making its way to market, Rockstar has reverted back to its old tactic, so without further ado, here's your latest batch of screenshots.
Anyone with even a passing interest in the world of videogames will know all about Grand Theft Auto. It's the game that has caused more than a little controversy over the years, with some even calling for it to be banned thanks to its rather mature content. Thankfully, that's not happened and the fifth release of the game is on its way.
YouTube is by far and away the most popular viral video site out there, but unfortunately, it's often let down by applications (or lack thereof). Take iOS for example; the native YouTube app is a sluggish affair which has seen little change from the days of iPhone OS, and most now use the vastly superior web-based app to catch up on the latest music videos, drop tests, and amateur comedy sketches.
About a week ago, we reported on that FCC filing that surfaced which suggested that a new PlayStation 3 model - perhaps the last to be released before the next-generation PlayStation debuts - is in the works. Now, a more revealing leak has surfaced, again from another filing; Tecnoblog discovered several alleged images of the device itself that were included in a filing with the Brazilian Agency of Telecommunications (Anatal).
Sony has announced today that it plans to partner with Activison to introduce yet another gaming bundle to the market, this time based off of the highly popular - practically a household name - first-person shooter, Modern Warfare 3. The bundle will include a 320GB PS3, and of course, a copy of MW3 for the decent cost of $299.
We all use a variety of technology during our daily lives, and no more so than in the living room. If you look under your TV then you'll no doubt see plenty of set-top boxes, DVRs and games consoles along with various audio equipment and the like.
