Just like the last event, Apple is once again going to stream their “Back to the Mac” event live. You will have to have either a Mac running Safari on Mac OS X version 10.6 Snow Leopard, an iPhone or iPod touch running iOS 3.0 or higher, or an iPad to watch the streaming.
So yea.. it was very lame on Apple’s part to restrict all users expect those with Macs and iOS devices for the live video stream of “Special Media Event” which will be broadcasted at 10:00 a.m. PDT (click here to see what time is it in your region) on September 1, 2010. But thanks to MacRumors, there is now a workaround which will enable all Windows and Linux users to watch the live video stream without having to own any of the Macs or iOS devices.
Apple has just sent out invites for the “Special Event” which is going to be held on September 1st 2010 at 10AM Pacific Time / 1PM Eastern Time in San Francisco. Expect Apple to announce new iPod touch 4 with FaceTime, iTunes in Cloud, the new Apple TV (dubbed iTV), iOS 4.1 for iPhones and iPod touches and iOS 4 for iPad. Hopefully we will also have more updates related to the availability of White iPhone 4 which has been delayed twice for “until later this year”.
Apples CEO Steve Jobs is all set to kick off his WWDC 10 keynote address in about an hour from now at San Francisco’s Moscone Center.
