The iPhone Dev-Team has released an updated version of Redsn0w 0.9.9 which not only brings support for iOS 5 jailbreak (final) for Windows users, but also an important Location Services issue fix for iPhone 3GS users who are running iPad’s 06.15 baseband.
Due to the extensive work put in by the jailbreak community, we've the luxury nowadays of a tether-jailbreak being released simultaneously to the update, and Apple's latest and greatest version of iOS is no exception.
iOS 5 Beta 7 for iPhone 4, 3GS, iPad 2, 1 and iPod touches was seeded to registered Apple developers yesterday. This new build contains several stability and security improvements to make iOS 5 close to release quality.

This is also the first ever version of iOS that can be downloaded over-the-air to iOS 5 Beta 3 devices, removing the need for iTunes to apply this update altogether. It now turns out that if you've jailbroken iOS 5, you won't be able to update over the air.
Earlier today, Apple seeded Beta 3 version of iOS 5 for iPhone, iPad, iPod touch and Apple TV to developers. The new beta 3 version includes: custom tones for tweets, Assistive Touch with Gesture Control, speed improvement, along with usual bug fixes.
