Earlier today, we informed you about a possible iPhone 4G/HD prototype which Engadget got hold of from the floor of a bar in San Jose, California. Later, MacRumors deemed them as fake, pointing towards a similar looking Japanese counterfeit product.
Engadget has got hold of a prototype model, which according to them is “very much” the next-gen iPhone that Apple is expected to release in June of this year. This prototype model was found in an iPhone 3G case, at a bar in San Jose, California.
I just stumbled upon these images of what look like the back-casing of the 4th generation iPhone and thought I should share it with you all. The text on the all aluminum unibody back reads the traditional line: “Designed by Apple in California. Assembled in China”.
Similar to the ones found by BGR last month, the iPhone hacker named iH8sn0w has found more references to next-gen iPhone, iPad and iPod touch in iPhone OS 4 Beta which was released last week. So are we in for something exciting coming up from Apple in the near future? Well only time will tell, for now, check out this screenshot below.
Scheduled dates for Apple's Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) for the year 2010 through 2015 has been revealed on a convention calendar (PDF) hosted on a Japanese site for the San Francisco Convention and Visitors Bureau. The list, which was last updated on May 2009 includes incorrect dates for Macworld 2011, but listings for many other future events appear to be accurate. The dates for WWDC as mentioned in the list are as under.

Good news for all iPhone users, the upcoming iPhone 4.0 will support multitasking in an Expose-like style interface as we have seen on Mac OS X. Now you can switch between apps and perform multiple tasks seamlessly.
John Gruber of Daring Fireball has added his thoughts on the “Verizon iPhone” report which was published by WSJ earlier today. According to him, the next-generation iPhone will feature an iPad like 940 x 640 resolution display, an A4 CPU chip (again like iPad) and a front facing camera for video conferencing. He also confirmed multitasking in the upcoming iPhone OS 4.0. This is what he had to say about Wall Street Journal’s report.
