It's been little over a week since Apple scrambled to release iOS 4.3.4 to plug the easily jailbreakable 4.3.3, and already another update has surfaced which addresses "certificate validation" vulnerabilities, and unfortunately, just like iOS 4.3.4, those of you that own an iPad 2 on iOS 4.3.5 can no longer jailbreak, not even tethered like other devices.
JailbreakMe 3.0 has received an "essential upgrade" via Cydia today, allegedly fixing previous issues that caused Apple's Camera Connection Kit accessory, BiteSMS, and sometimes Cydia (disappearing problem) to stop working altogether. Every iOS user who has jailbroken their device with JailbreakMe 3.0 is encouraged to apply this update via Cydia as soon as possible.
JailbreakMe 3.0 continues its steady growth with 2 million jailbreaks already applied since the tool came out (officially) last week. The news was delivered by Grant Paul (also known as @chpwn) via his Twitter account.

After confirming i0n1c’s untethered jailbreak exploit for iOS 4.3.1 as “Solid”, MuscleNerd of iPhone Dev Team today has confirmed today that the upcoming jailbreak for iOS 4.3.1 will be untethered on all devices (except for iPad 2), including the 2nd-generation Apple TV.
Some good news for new iPad 2 owners. Vincent, who has a good track record with what's happening around the iPhone jailbreak scene has just tweeted that Chronic Dev Team might have a surprise for all of us.
