Rockstar Games and their Grand Theft Auto franchise have always managed to split public opinion right down the middle. The game, originally created by David Jones and Mike Daily, has managed to court with controversy ever since the original 2D release back in 1997. As gamers continue to wait anxiously for the release of Grand Theft Auto 5 after it was delayed from Spring until September, Rockstar Games has sought to keep fans interested by releasing an image of the box art set to grace the cover of the title when it does finally release. As well as giving us a glimpse of the cover, the publisher / developer also released another batch of GTA V screenshots earlier as a reminder of just how pretty the title is going to be.

Those looking forward to a Summer immersed in the aesthetically-startling environments teased hitherto will be bitterly disappointed, and the momentum Rockstar has managed to generate may also take a severe hit.
