Apple just released iOS 7.0.5 download links for select devices. This update is currently only available for iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c and corrects network provisioning for models that are sold in China.
This is just in. iOS 7.1 beta 1 download links have just gone live for iPhone 5, 5s, 5c, 4s, 4, iPod touch 5, and iPad 2 and up on the iOS Dev Center. A new beta for Apple TV 2nd and 3rd gen has also been released.
After iOS 7 and iOS 7.0.2, official direct download links for iOS 7.0.3 are live for iPhone 5s, 5c, 5, 4s, 4, iPad, iPad mini and iPod touch fifth-generation.
iOS 7.0.2 download links have just gone live for iPhone 5s, 5c, 5, 4s, 4, iPad and iPod touches. As with any new release of iOS, the latest and greatest has had its fair share of teething issues, and while we've not quite seen a repeat of last year's iOS 6 Maps shit-storm, the security lapses that have manifested through the new-look lock screen have not made for particularly pleasant reading.
iOS 7 beta 2 download for iPhone 5, 4S, 4 and iPod touch 5 has been released. More details can be found here.
Apple TV may not be the all-singing assault on the television market as envisioned by the late Steve Jobs, but far from treating it like the "hobby" as once described by CEO Tim Cook, the Cupertino company is pressing ahead with updates. Today, Apple TV software 5.3 has been released for the second and third generation iterations of the little black set-top box, and now, users will be able to catch content from HBO and ESPN right from the Apple TV, negating the need for any kind of direct cable subscription. Details after the break!
iOS 6.1.3 has just been released for supported iPhone, iPad and iPod touch devices. Full details and download links are detailed after the jump.
For the last few months, Apple has been intensively testing iOS 6.1, the next minor update for iOS 6. Up until now, only developers willing to spend $99 per year on an Apple developer subscription had access to beta copies of this release, but now that the final version is upon us, everyone can take advantage of it. Here is how to download it right now.
In its efforts to continue updating and improving iOS, Apple has just released iOS 6.0.2 exclusively for the iPhone 5 and iPad mini. Unlike other earlier versions of 6th-gen iOS, this one is tailored especially to the new iPhone 5 and iPad mini. More details after the break.
Apple's iOS 6 may have been adopted in record numbers initially, but the release of the latest and greatest mobile software has been far from a smooth ride. Maps, which was meant to replace Google Maps at stock level, turned out to be as much use as a chocolate fire shield for many, and after a fair amount of controversy including a complaint from Australian Police suggesting its frailties potentially endanger lives, Maps has somewhat re-replaced Apple Maps following its App Store release last week. Meanwhile, iOS SVP Scott Forstall has gone the way of MobileMe, and with Apple is looking to turn a corner with its iOS software by bringing the updates at frequent intervals, iOS 6.1 Beta 4 is now available to developers.
