With a new tweak available in Cydia called Fake Operator, you can now rename your operator / carrier and put it as whatever you desire. Similar to the MakeitMine application that was released after the first-ever jailbreak, but with this new tweak you can do so without a dedicated app, oh and it is fully support on the latest iOS 4.2.1 firmware.
PhotoAlbums+ is a great Cydia tweak which gives you the ability to create albums and organize photos from the native Photos app on the iPhone or iPod touch. It allows you to create new custom photo albums, move photos in and out of camera roll, and even allows you to create password protected photo albums.
Thanks to a new tweak available in Cydia called “Pull To Refresh for Mail”, you can now just pull your inbox list down past the search bar and your mail will automatically refresh. This has been seen on Twitter for iPhone (formerly Tweetie), various other Twitter clients and more recently the Facebook application.

Barrel is a new tweak available in Cydia, developed by Aaron Ash which adds a 3D “cube” effect to your iPhone’s springboard. This is a very cool tweak which changes the look of how your home screen icons scroll. Please note that this works for all devices running iOS 4.x + apart from the iPad or those with SBRotator installed.
Since Cydia is broken on iOS 4.2.x, the new Redsn0w 0.9.6b3 released today supports iOS 4.2.1 so that developers can make their jailbreak-apps compatible before Apple releases the final firmware to public. Using this version of Redsn0w, you can now install jailbreak-apps without using Cydia.
Device Speed Test is a new app available in Cydia which lets you test the speed and efficiency of your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch, whilst also recommending what you should do to improve performance in simple ways.
