Apple finally revealed the fifth-gen iPad Air at its special event yesterday, and as consumers begin to read the hands-on reviews and decide whether or not to make the purchase, the third party accessory makers are already well and truly on their game. Belkin, one of the foremost creators of cases and peripherals for Apple's wide range of products, has come through with a neat case for the iPad Air featuring a physical keyboard in a very slim line package.
The iPad is arguably one of the most popular, capable and successful portable media devices on the market at the moment. Although competing companies are starting to up their game with the release of new tablet devices, the iPad is still hanging in there at the top of that sector. To compliment the device and make the most effective use of the powerful media capabilities; Belkin has today introduced a premium speaker dock for the iPad known as the Thunderstorm Handheld Home Theater.
The Lightning dock has been on the market for six weeks now, with the iPad mini and iPad 4 joining the iPhone 5 as the first devices with the new proprietary connector. As is always the case with new Apple gadgets, sites like eBay are awash with thousands of Lightning connector accessories, and while some are more reputable than others, none have yet been released by any of Apple's official accessory partners. Belkin does fall under that umbrella though, and in showcasing a series of accessories for the aforementioned devices, is the first company to officially announce Cupertino-authorized Lightning goods.
Apple's iPhone is already the most popular camera out there, thanks to the fact that not only is it actually a pretty decent shooter from the iPhone 4 onwards, but it tends to be the camera you always have with you. That makes it both convenient and useful.
