According to a report by AppleInsider, AT&T has provisioned the use of Personal Hotspot feature to a developer running iOS 4.3 Beta.

Apple has started airing a new iPhone 4 commercial which brings two of the largest American cellular networks together on-screen.
The Verizon iPhone 4, which was recently announced today will officially feature a wireless tethering -like feature which will allow it to turn into a mobile hotspot! Dubbed as “Personal Hotspot”, this feature allows up to 5 devices onto the personal network and share the iPhone's cellular data connection. The hotspot itself will come built directly into the OS of the new Verizon iPhone 4, running the new iOS 4.2.5.
Last week, Verizon sent out invites for their press event which is going to be held in the New York City tomorrow. WSJ has just announced that “a person familiar with the matter” (Presumably the same person, who confirmed this event would be iPhone related) claims that Verizon will be offering unlimited data plan to iPhone users.
The Wall Street Journal has just weighed in to confirm that the Verizon event, which is happening on 11th January is indeed going to be for the long-awaited Verizon iPhone 4.
AT&T has just announced a huge price drop for iPhone 3GS. The predecessor to iPhone 4 which was selling for $99 will now cost only $49, starting from this Friday, January 7, 2011.
According to the sources close to MacDailyNews, the upcoming Verizon iPhone will support Verizon’s new faster LTE network for 4G data, and it will be announced right after Christmas. The report also cites that Verizon is waiting for AT&T exclusivity to end after which they are going to market it as the only LTE (4G-capable) iPhone.
