We’re still waiting for Apple to actually release the Mac Pro but we do at least now know that it comes with special silver and black accessories.
Spotted by developer Steve Troughton-Smith, a new set of images shows the silver and black accessories. They look like they’re going to fit in well with Apple’s Mac Pro, if and when it actually arrives. And importantly they’re different to the accessories that ship with the iMac Pro, too.
We somehow missed this when the Mac Pro was announced and while it was showed with a silver and black keyboard at the time, nobody seemed to notice. And now we know that a standard Magic Keyboard without a keypad will be available, too.
Whether these will be available as an option for anyone else looking to get the Mac Pro feel isn’t yet known. Nor do we have any idea how much they would cost.
For reasons unknown Apple sees fit to sell its Space Gray accessories at a $20 premium compared to their silver counterparts. We hate to image what Mac Pro-specific accessories would go for.
In fact. we’re still trying not to think about how much the Mac Pro’s wheels will be, too.
Apple announced the Mac Pro during WWDC back in June and that’s pretty much the last we heard of it. We’d expect to hear more in the coming days and weeks, though.
