Saudi Arabia To Get Apple’s Online Store In 2025, Physical Stores In 2026

Apple is making a big move to expand its presence in Saudi Arabia, with plans for both an online store in 2025 and multiple physical retail stores starting in 2026.

Starting in summer 2025, the Apple Online Store will officially launch in Saudi Arabia, offering customers direct access to Apple’s products, services, and support in Arabic for the first time.

This move reflects Apple’s ongoing commitment to the region following the opening of its Developer Academy in 2021.

In 2026, Apple will open the first of several flagship retail stores in Saudi Arabia, with one already in the early planning stages for Diriyah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Apple CEO Tim Cook expressed excitement about these developments, stating:

We’re excited to be expanding here in Saudi Arabia with the launch of the Apple Store online next year, and the first of several flagship Apple Store locations starting in 2026, including an iconic store at the stunning site of Diriyah coming later.

Our teams are looking forward to deepening our connections with customers, and to bringing the best of Apple to help people across this country explore their passions, build their businesses, and take their ideas to the next level.

Apple’s investments in Saudi Arabia go beyond retail. The company has already spent over 10 billion SAR in the region over the past five years. App Store developers in Saudi Arabia have also seen a staggering 1,750 percent growth in earnings since 2019, reflecting the country’s growing tech ecosystem.

In addition, Apple is collaborating with the upcoming Riyadh metro to bring express transit support, adding Saudi Arabia to its network of over 250 cities worldwide with this feature.
