Samsung has confirmed that it will be holding its next Galaxy Unpacked event on Wednesday, February 9 at 10AM ET / 7AM PT.
The invitation that was sent out to media had a large letter ‘S’ in a box with the words “The Epic Standard” written beneath it.
It’s expected that the new event will play hose to the unveiling of the new Galaxy S22 series of devices and Samsung has already pointed to the arrival of a Galaxy S22 Ultra device that would presumably get a February launch. That device is likely to take features from the Note lineup, adding an S-Pen stylus just like the popular Note series.
We’ve already seen plenty of leaks relating to the S22 series of devices with the standard model likely to sport a 6.1-inch display. That’s a smaller one than the outgoing S21, but we don’t expect huge design changes in terms of the overall look and feel of this refresh.
With Samsung’s event now just a couple of weeks away it’s possible we will see yet more leaks ahead of the big day. If that’s the case we might know what Samsung is going to announce before it actually does it. You only have to ask Google how that goes down!
