HTC’s One smartphone device may yet to have been released to market, but already, the folks over at XDA have put together a brilliant all-in-one toolkit for modding enthusiasts to download and enjoy.
The stock firmware has vastly improved from the days of Gingerbread 2.3, with Android 4.1.2 shipping as standard on the Taiwanese electronics company’s flagship, but no matter how much Android continues to provide better functionality and features, there’ll always be those looking to push things further. Rooting, flashing ROMs, unlocking bootloaders, tossing in tweaks and whatnot, and such are categories in which the XDA-Developers forums thrive, and if you feel a little uncomfortable in some of the processes involved when going deeper into the software frameworks of your Android device, the newly-released all-in-one tool for the HTC One will have you covered.
It can be a bit daunting, particularly for a newbie, to get started in the world of Android modding, particularly with the amount of assumed knowledge many of the tutorials across the Web seem to demand. With the all-in-one tool, you needn’t be searching for different utilities to conquer different obstacles, since practically everything you’ll ever need is right there in one, easy-to-find location, which is something everyone loves, don’t we not?
Not only does it provide a clean, uncomplicated layout in order to help you locate whatever you may be in search of, but also includes a bunch of useful links, commands, and other extras you may find invaluable when modding your HTC One.
Created by member Hasoon2000, it seems to have left very little out, particularly for what is currently only a version 1.0 release, and with further updates promised for the future, the all-in-one utility can only get better as time goes on. Golden stuff indeed.
What with the device still being unreleased and whatnot, it’s unlikely you’ll be diving in just yet. Still, it’s certainly one you’ll want to be bookmarking for when your HTC One finally does arrive, and we will make sure to keep you guys in the loop for any other interesting modding news pertaining to the device; so stay tuned!
