Tesla’s updated Model 3 EV is now available to buy in the United Kingdom, with buyers able to pick one up for £39,990. There are two models on offer with the base model being the standard rear-wheel drive model.
Those who want to upgrade to the dual-motor long-range version can do just that, but it’ll cost an additional £10,000 to do so. That will get you around 390 miles of range on a single charge and a standard model sees that fall to 318 miles.
All models are available in a choice of five colors with two wheels offered. The standard 18-inch wheels are joined by a 19-inch option for those who want to sacrifice some ride quality for the extra inch.
All of these options will of course see the price increase pretty rapidly, including choosing any color that isn’t white. You can also increase the price further by adding things like a tow hitch and self-driving capabilities, too.
The upgraded Model 3 comes with a new look and improved sound dampening as well as a revamped interior. That includes new ambient lighting and the controversial removal of the steering wheel’s stalks.
This refreshed vehicle had been rumored for months before its recent announcement and represents the first real refresh of the car that was first sold back in 2017. Delivery windows for this new model are early 2024, but that could change as orders start to be made.
