The iPhone is an extremely powerful piece of kit and comes embedded with a more than capable on-board camera which produces some wonderful images that can then be shared across a variety of social networks or uploaded to popular apps like Instagram for the world to see.
There already exists a number of premium accessories that compliment the native camera and app extremely well, but for those who actually want to transcend the digital sharing of content and need something a little more real-world, then the Impossible Instant Lab Kickstarter project could be worth throwing some funding at.
The rather awesome looking product is designed to turn digital images into analog instant photographs. If you have no idea what that means, then just conjure up images of those fantastic Polaroids in your head and you are on the right track. Sharing images with friends and followers on Twitter and Facebook is all well and good, but some people may actually prefer being able to get their hands onto a physical copy of the pictures they have taken.
The Impossible Instant Lab actually comes courtesy of a bunch of instant film enthusiasts who seem to have an insane amount of passion for this type of thing and have therefore invented a product that allows images to be instantly turned into an analog photograph. The device itself will be extremely easy to use with a process that will consist selecting an image on the iPhone, slapping it into the Impossible Instant Lab device, opening the shutter and then hitting the process button when the exposure indicator is given.
The developers of the project are looking for a cool quarter of a million dollars funding to give the green light to the project, which may seem like a lot, but at the time of writing, 964 different backers have already pledged $185,174 of that total with nearly a month left to go. It seems that the Impossible Instant Lab photography accessory already has some serious interest behind it with the minimum backing tier already sold out. If interested in the project, a pledge of $189 will guarantee one of the first units along with a film pack and a few other benefits.
