PUBG Mobile 0.3.3 Update For Android, iOS Released, Here’s What Is New

Tencent Mobile has issued a PUBG Mobile update to the iOS App Store and Google Play Store which will simultaneously keep gamers happy and leave them feeling a little frustrated.

The release means that version 0.3.3 is available to download immediately for all PUBG Mobile gamers.

The good news is that Tencent is clearly showing that it’s willing to keep updating PUBG Mobile in order to ensure that the game is running smoothly for all gamers and attempting to fix any issues that may crop up along the way.

This latest release takes the iOS and Android English version of the global phenomenon to version 0.3.3, and bundles in a number of fixes which should hopefully appease the global gaming community.

As an example of these changes, the official Android release notes for version 0.3.3 are as follows:

– Now compatible with more devices.
– Now supports the following languages: German, Russian, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Turkish, Traditional Chinese, Thai and Bahasa Indonesia
– Facebook users can now change their in-game icons
– Various bug fixes

Where Apple’s iOS platform is concerned, the same release notes are relevant, except for the fact that Tencent explicitly mentions the devices which now offer improved compatibility with PUGB Mobile, including iPhone 5s, iPad Air, and iPad mini 2 and 3. It seems that a lot of work has been undertaken to ensure that older hardware is capable of running PUBG as smoothly and efficiently as possible. Also, thanks to leaked patch information, we already know that the incoming version 0.4.0 of PUBG Mobile further extends the games handle of older devices by including automatic gaming modes to expose the best performance possible.

Version 0.3.3 is available to download with immediate effect for Android and iOS device owners running the English version of the game. We may have some small changes with this version, including additional language options, but it’s really version 0.4.0 that we are looking forward to thanks to the excitement introduced by the leaked patch notes. Chinese version of the game is already up to 0.4.0 is hopefully the English version will catchup sooner rather than later.
