Pod2g Confirmed As Speaker At JailbreakCon 2012 (WWJC)

JBCon

Last year, the very first JailbreakCon was in London (under the name MyGreatFest), and featured some of the best Cydia developers - many of whom will be back for a second showing - along with, of course, Cydia's creator - Jay Freeman a.k.a Saurik.

This year's event promises to be even bigger than the last, and with Pod2g having been a key cog in the workings behind the latest untethered jailbreak Absinthe, it will certainly be enhanced by his presence.

Tickets for the event – with Redmond Pie being one of the main sponsors - are still on general sale, and information regarding them can be found here. Held in San Francisco, it will feature the very best of the scene - from those making the jailbreaks possible to those creating all the wonderful, intuitive tweaks we all know and love.

It will take place on September 29th, which is frighteningly close to when we suspect the next iPhone will be released, thus expect quite a bit of info from the dev teams regarding their progress / battle plans as iOS 6 enters the building thereafter.

If you have a vested interest in the jailbreaking community, then attending is really a no-brainer. Not only will there be a lot of information and insight regarding how the mods and tweaks are achieved, but there will be plenty of giveaways along the way, offering plenty of chances to win iDevice related stuff.

Most of the tickets for JailbreakCon have now been sold, so if you like the idea of immersing yourself in a day dedicated to jailbreaking, then head over to this link to secure your ticket before its too late. After all, once they're gone, they're gone for good.

Quite a few of the Redmond Pie team will also be in attendance, and we cannot wait for it all to begin, so make sure you secure your tickets and join us for what will be a memorable event!

As if there wasn’t already a million reasons why this year’s JailbreakCon will be one of the most unmissable events this year, Pod2g has confirmed his attendance at HITBConfSec, and add to that the inclusion of Chronic Dev Team member Pimskeks, and you’ve pretty much got every member of the Chronic Dev Team on board.

Pod2g first confirmed his presence to us in an interview at HITBAMS last week. And now, the official Twitter account of JailbreakCon has also confirmed his presence at this year’s WWJC:
