While this could be a Photoshop job, a new “dodgy” shot of the “lost” iPhone 4G in Vietnam has surfaced, which shows the handset running the upcoming iPhone OS 4. It is difficult to conclude on how these guys have tricked the phone into running the OS, considering the fact that Apple must have done a remote wipe following the leak yesterday.
Yea I know its getting boring now but.. after all those huge leaks by Gizmodo, and the Vietnamese site Taoviet, now a French site named BeGeek has got its hands on the 4th-gen Apple iPhone. Apparently, the prototype model seen in these images looks very similar to the one which folks from Vietnam got hold of.
The most powerful Android handset to date has finally got a release date, and price. HTC EVO 4G will be available on Sprint’s 4G network starting 4th of June, for $199 (after all the discounts) on a new contract. In what looks like a backlash than anything else, HTC has responded to Apple’s patent lawsuit by filing a complaint with ITC (International Trade Commission), asking for sales ban on iPhone, iPad and iPod in US due to alleged infringement of five patents. This story in now turning similar to Nokia and Apple one in which both the parties have filed federal lawsuits against each other.
MMS was one feature which was missing big time from the original iPhone and iPhone 3G. It was not until Apple released iPhone OS 3.x which brought this feature for the masses. The same now goes for the recently launched iPad 3G as well.
A Vietnamese site named Taoviet has got hold of what looks like another “lost” next-gen iPhone prototype model from Apple. This model looks almost exactly like the one which Gizmodo got hold of earlier last month, except for the screws at the bottom which seems to have been removed. Both iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS had similar screws with the speaker at the bottom. Also, this model has 16GB written on the backside compared to the one which Gizmodo got which had XXGB written on the back. Are we looking at the very final pre-production model of the new iPhone? probably yes!
If you have been using an iPad, you would know that currently there’s no proper Facebook app available for the iPad yet. The one which is available in the App Store is for the iPhone and the iPod touch. Yes you can run it on the iPad as well but only in native iPhone’s resolution, or in the pixilated x2 size mode. Seeing this, Sobees has come up with a useful Facebook client app for iPad which in all fairness does the job well.

Apple today has confirmed that they are going to fix the WiFi issue which has been problematic for some iPad users ever since its launch. Users have been complaining about the WiFi connection on iPad doing some crazy things like not letting them join hotspots, and providing weak signal strength and so on. Apple earlier acknowledged the issue and provided some workarounds but that didn't help many.
