The developer behind Infiniboard, Infinidock, ProSwitcher, ProSwitcher HD and the UI designer of Spirit untethered jailbreak tool for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch has posted a video showing “pulldown refresh” for the native Mail app in iPhone, iPod touch and iPad. This mod will enable us to refresh or recheck for new emails by simply pulling down the app, as seen in Twitter for iPhone (formerly Tweetie) app.
WWDC 10 is going to be a huge event for both developers and consumers. Apple has got some cool new things to announce such as the new iPhone 4 / HD. But what are the other things which we should expect from Steve Jobs’ WWDC 10 keynote? Let’s take a look at them.
According to the sources at BGR, there is high chance that the next Apple iPhone will go on sale nationwide on Friday, June 18th 2010. They have confirmed it through multiple AT&T store reps that since the sales quotas for this month are very high, what this means is that the iPhone 4G/HD is confirmed to launch sometime in June, not July.
The title says it all. The popular unlocking tool for iPhone 3GS, 05.11.07 baseband on iPhone 3.1.3/3.1.2 has been successfully ported to work with the latest iPhone OS 4 Beta 4. This port is based on the binaries provided by msft.guy and the original blacksn0w unlock by Geohot.
Those of you who have been using Apple MobileMe services might have noticed a slight change in “Account Type” status for the last week or so. It now reads “Full Member” instead of “Free Member” or “Individual” which hints at a possibility that Apple might be making this service free after all.
Apple has started hanging banners outside San Francisco’s Moscone center in preparation for the upcoming WWDC 2010 conference which will be held here next week starting from June 7. The large iPhone apps-centric WWDC10 banner which was seen on the invitation cards has already been hung, alongside Apple logo outside the main conference center.
Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer and Chief Software Architect Ray Ozzie are live right now from D: All Things Digital Conference (aka D8 Conference). It will be interesting to see how the two top executives of Microsoft answer all the questions related to ongoing fierce competition from the likes of Apple in consumer space, and from Google in web and enterprise space.
WWDC 2010 is only 5 days away now and the rumors about the next iPhone just don’t stop. In fact these rumors wont go until Steve Jobs finally raises the curtain on the next iPhone by officially giving it a name on next Tuesday.

We are not sure if this is a bug or a feature but if you try to push the power/sleep button for three times in a row on the lockscreen, the iPhone goes right into flashlight mode showing bright white screen. I have also tested this and it appears to be working on iPhone OS 4 Beta 4.
